Delete your EducationGuru account

Option 1: delete it in the app (fastest)

Open EducationGuru and sign in.
Go to Profile → Settings (the gear icon).
Under Privacy & data, tap Delete my account.
Read the warning, enter your password to confirm, and tap Delete account.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out. To see what is stored first, use Settings → Download my data before you delete.

Option 2: ask us to delete it

If you cannot sign in or no longer have the app, email support@educationguru.in with the subject Delete my account, from the email address registered on the account. We will confirm it is you and delete the account within 30 days. A parent or guardian may make this request for a child's account.

What is deleted

Your name, date of birth, gender, class, board, state and profile photo
Your email address and phone number (the account can no longer be signed in to, and the email address can be used to register again)
Your notes, bookmarks, highlights and feedback
Your notifications, notification preferences and saved device tokens
Your study-time records, exam follows and alerts, content-error reports, and parent–student links
All sign-in sessions

What is kept

Exam attempts, results and lesson progress are kept only in a de-identified form: they are no longer linked to your name, email address or phone number. They remain for exam integrity and aggregate statistics.
Security audit records, which record that the deletion took place, are kept for as long as needed to protect the Service and meet legal obligations.

Deletion cannot be undone. You can create a new account later, but deleted data cannot be restored.
